He is a person who likes people and is passionate about Nature. Graduated in Biology – Marine Environmental branch and Master in Marine Ecology by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. From 2005 to 2012 and from 2015 to 2018, he worked as a research technician in the Eco-ethology research unit of the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology (MARE-ISPA). During this period, he participated in research projects in the areas of: Habitat recovery, functioning and effectiveness of Marine Protected Areas and Climate Change. Over the years he has been collaborating with different national and international projects related to social empowerment and education, participating as a facilitator and / or member of the work teams. Since 2008, he collaborates with Sciaena and was part of the Board until the beginning of 2019. He is currently responsible for the project coordinated by Sciaena on Marine Protected Areas.
