Sciaena joins EU Fisheries Control Coalition
Sciaena has recently joined the EU Fisheries Control Coalition, an alliance of Environmental Non-Governmental Organizations, which aims to ensure that european fisheries management safeguards the ocean’s health and its marine life for future generations through a strong control regulation.
The EU Fisheries Control Coalition – The Environmental Justice Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, Oceana, Seas At Risk, and WWF, together with ClientEarth, The Fisheries Secretariat, Our Fish and Sciaena, will work together and in partnership with other organizations with the purpose of ensuring that the European Union can adopt a fisheries control regulation that is robust and delivers sustainable fisheries management in the EU in accordance with the Common Fisheries Policy.
